  3. Discuss the personal websites -look at examples – what do you need to work on for the next major project?
  4. Hand back graded assignments
  5. Put a copy of all major projects in your portfolio folder. (Announcement, Letter from a Nut, Resume, Research Paper)
  6. Discuss next major project (Company website)
  7. Pick up and fill out the “My Company” handout – due Friday at the beginning of class
  8. Begin making an organziation chart for your company – due Friday at the beginning of class

  2. Periods 1 & 7 – Please drop off your school organization chart and table quiz to the correct Z drive drop folder
    Periods 2 & 6 – Please drop off your table quiz to the correct Z drive drop folder
  3. Next continue to work on your personal website! It is due at the end of class. You MUST drop off your ENTIRE personal website folder into the drop folder at the end of class. If you are running out of time, make sure you have AT LEAST the first 4 pages filled with information and formatted correctly and link the 5th & 6th page.

  2. You must complete 6 pages of your personal website. Home page, 3 subhome pages, and 2 subtopic pages by the end of class on Tuesday 1/27. Keep working on your pages!!!
  3. You will learn how to create links to your pages today.

The computer lab will be open during lunch and after school Friday and Monday if you need extra time to work on your personal website.

  1. Warm up
  2. Make sure ALL files are saved correctly.  You will create the files for all 12 pages, but you will only be fully creating 6 pages. Remember to make your background the same on all your pages and keep your font color the same…you should be able to see the color scheme and it should NOT be distracting. Do not use a gradient or picture background.
  3. Learn how to preview the webpage and how to edit the Word document.
  4. Learn how to create a table on the webpage to help organize all the information. 
  5. Start to input all the data on your pages. You can add pictures/graphics and formatting changes AFTER you finish the text portion.

  2. Continue working on the assignments from the Wed/Thursday class. Please refer back to that post for the location of the assignments. When it is time to answer parts of the packet, just select the typed area with the questions (in the PDF file) and paste it into a Word document and save the file. I may ask you to turn that in next week. If you completely finish your homepage design,  you may start working on your sub pages. I EXPECT at least the homepage completed by next Tuesday!
