  1. Before the tardy bell rings, please make sure your project is dropped off in your class drop folder and make sure you have turned in a printed copy as well. Make sure you have also turned in your peer editing handouts!

  3. Today we will be discussing copyright laws and ethics and how it affects you!  There will be a quiz tomorrow about copyright laws!

**Reminder bring either .50 or a stamp and envelope by Friday. 7th period, I will collect yours starting on Wednesday.

  1. Today you will have about 15 min to finish working on your “Letter from a Nut”
  2. Pick up a peer editing handout from the table – I will assign you a partner. You will peer edit a classmates letter. Make sure that you critique their work and give them useful suggestions on how to make it perfect!  Pay attention to the formatting and their writing.
  3. Leave your peer editing sheet with your classmate and head back to your computer to make all necessary changes to your letter.
  4. Your letter needs to bring printed out and signed BEFORE class begins tomorrow!
  5. Bring an envelope and a stamp or .50 by Friday, October 31.

No warm up today. Use today to finish your “Letter from a Nut” project!  You need to have a completed letter done by Monday, so that we can do a peer editing assignment. If you don’t finish the letter in class today, you will need to take it home over the weekend and work on it!

  1. Finish National Geographic letter and make sure a classmate has proofed it, make your changes and then drop it in the drop folder.
  2. Write a business letter to your favorite teacher. Tell them why you like their class, what makes them your favorite teacher, etc.
  3. Handout Letter from a Nut project assignment. Start on major project!
